Summer Camp Themes for 2011 are almost finalized! Below is a partial description of the fun we will have this summer!
Summer Camp is available to current and former MLA students first and additional space is made available to the public on a first come, first enrolled basis.
We are excited to announce our exciting Summer Camp 2011 Themes!
June 20-24 "Meet Me At The Pond"
Pack a picnic and meet us at the pond for a week of learning about frogs, ducks, fish, snails and turtles. Become scientists and build a pond habitat, explore pond life and algae, and take fresh water samples. Take a swim in the pond with friendly creatures that live nearby. Paint with muck, relax on a lily pad, and count dragonflies as you enjoy the seasons at the pond.
June 27-July 1 Science Camp
July 5-8, July 11-15, & 18-22 Art Camp
Your preschooler will become a famous artist. They will make masterpieces like Monet, paint laying down like Michelangelo or create your very own style. This camp goes beyond paint and sets the imagination free with games, music and silly dances that let children wiggle, giggle and express their unique personality. This is art like never before! Each week will include new and exciting artistic experiences!
July 25-29, August 1-5, & 8-12 "Island Explorers"
Jump off the boat onto the island as your preschooler explores the treasures that await them on the tropical paradise. Play on the beach, build sandcastles, and follow a treasure map. Experience the natural wonders of volcanoes, waterfalls, caves, and palm trees. We will end camp with a luau celebration, complete with hula dancing, surfing, and island music while the sun sets on a great summer.
August 15-19 Vacation Bible School
VBS will be hosted by Messiah Lutheran Church. The theme will be announced soon and registration will be held online. Please keep an eye out for more information!
